TACKLE FOOTBALL
We offer our competitive tackle program in the Spring & Fall for ages 6-13 and our 'Learn to Play' tackle program for 5 and 6 year olds! The teams are age-based and unlimited weight. Age is determined by the child's age as of July 31st, 2025. We are excited to announce single age divisions with 7u, 8u, 9u, 10u, 11u, 12u and 13u teams!
If you have never registered for tackle before, please see the instructions at the very bottom, as it can be confusing. It's done through the Wesley Chapel District Park website and we do not run it.
Our athletes will develop skill and physical abilities through a commitment to structured practices. We will strive to serve as many children as possible and ensure that our athletes have fun whether winning or losing by creating an environment that is positive, honest and educational. The Wesley Chapel Coyotes will seek to provide opportunities for our kids to positively expand their life experiences. We will give back to our communities and model fairness, service, and selflessness as values essential for our children to learn.

Pop Warner requires that a member of our governing league (FYD Pop Warner) verify all participant birth certificates. FYD staff must have the original or a certified copy (with raised seal) to look at--photo copies will NOT be allowed. Once they verify the authenticity of the birth certificate, they will stamp a copy provided by the Coyotes that will added to the Team Book. After FYD has stamped the copy, the original will be returned to you. We do not want to be responsible for holding on to your important documents for very long, so we will try to have a member of FYD there at a registration session, so your birth certificate can be returned immediately.
The parent name listed on the Player Contract MUST EXACTLY MATCH a parent's name on the athlete's birth certificate. If you have legal guardianship of the athlete, you will need to provide a copy of the court document granting guardianship as this must be in the Team book as required by FYD.
